It was a reaction to his attempt to write a sentence in English. Furthemore I did not know that this is a forum about Russian language. I thought that it was about networks in Ukraine.

I'm not sure to understand, I've posted a couple of traceroutes and throughput tests using tcp/http from various remote hosts using wget. You can find them in my posts on this topic.

That's an example of a single socket connection with wget.

 

$ wget -O /dev/null http://paris.cdn.mediactive-network.net/speedtest/5000Mo.dat-4

The same target with 5 simultaneous connections:

PS: Traffic to this host is routed via fiord.net (AS50499) which seems to be their most congested link.

1. It requires a web browser.

2. It requires Flash. I'm never going to install Flash Player on my machine.

3. It opens multiple connections simultaneously (4 iirc).

4. It's proprietary, no documentation, no sources.

 

Так может и компьютер не будете включать, чего мелочиться.

302 errors, dozens of unclosed tags and syntax error. How do you want to take this seriously?

 

That would also only concern 2. - All other points are still valid.

 

I also don't understand why you are using this trash, is wget that hard to use?

У меня, кстати, раза с сотого нажалось "BEGIN TEST". И то, пришлось обновлять страницу миллион раз.

Проверил в хроме и опере http://beta.speedtest.net -  нормально работает :)

 

Yes, it may even work with Microsoft Internet Exporer. But there are people who are not willing to run trash on their computer and I'm part of them.

У меня на Microsoft Internet Exporer из beta кидает просто на http://www.speedtest.net/.

По теме - тестируйте на украинские ресурсы. попробуйте на iperf.volia.net. при таких пингах на сам сайт lanet.ua там у вас и с украинским трафиком худо. может проблемы по трассе а не только на зарубеж.

Ну треш так треш.

И чего это я парюсь, это же не у меня ланет и 2 мбита скорость в зарубеж :)

ask noc@lanet.ua to assign you IP's from networks which are routed via other Lanet upstream (not via Fiord) or buy VPN service to outsideword from ISP from zone where you have perfect connect - UA-IX zone (as I remember Netassist sometime ago dealing with such methods)
